The Moon Throws Back

The Moon Throws Back is an orbital artillery arcade game for iPhone. Port Selene, the Moon’s only city, declares independence from Earth, and its only weapon is a cargo cannon. Players drag to aim along a curved, physics-true preview and throw rock down Earth’s gravity well across 40 battles in four chapters, then face the orbital fortress Bastion. Voiced briefings from Commander Mara Vance, taunts from Admiral Kane and cutscenes carry the story. Inspired by Robert A. Heinlein’s The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress; all characters and places are original.

Holdfast

Holdfast is a one-screen medieval siege game for iPhone. Players choose a king and fight for a kingdom on a red-and-blue war map, alternating between holding their walls (pushing back ladders, stopping sappers, pouring oil) and leading assaults with archers, trebuchets, rams and cavalry. Between battles they take provinces, upgrade the Armory and choose boons.
